Quality and Environmental Management

Quality

UESC’s mission is to be the world’s leading manufacturer of rolls for the metals industry. The Quality Management System is designed to accomplish its stated mission by achieving four well-defined objectives.

  • People - A highly trained, skilled and motivated work force is the strength of UESC.  We will continue to provide a safe and secure environment for all employees and foster open communications at all levels in the organization.

  • Quality - A partnership in quality must exist between our suppliers, our employees and our customers.  Our product, service and company reputation is the end result of this concerted effort to provide the best value to our customers.

  • Technology - In order to maintain our position as an industry leader in technology, we will continue pursuing innovations in all aspects of roll development, manufacturing, and use. This will require aggressive investments in both research and equipment and a continuing response to the changing needs of our customers.

  • Profitability and Value - A continuing effort to increase customer satisfaction, productivity, quality and overall product value is required to provide our customers with products and services of measurable value over our competitors.

Every employee of Union Electric Steel is trained to ensure an understanding of this policy.
